Rishabh Pant Deadly Accident
Rishabh Pant: After escaping a serious car accident while traveling from Delhi to Uttarakhand, India’s top wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant was admitted to the hospital. According to Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar, Pant was operating his Mercedes when it caught fire at the Narsan border after colliding with a divider. According to the Director General of Police in Uttarakhand, Pant claimed that he lost control of the vehicle after nodding off behind the wheel.
Pant was the only person in the vehicle when it hit a road divider and caught fire. He was hurt in the head, back, and leg. The 25-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital while en route to his Roorkee home. His head, back, and feet were hurt, but he’s doing okay right now.
“Orthopedic and plastic surgeons are monitoring cricketer Rishabh Pant. His state is stable. Once he’s been examined, a comprehensive medical bulletin will be made public. After that, we’ll move on to the next step,” Dr. Ashish Yagnik of the Max Hospital in Dehradun told the media.

Injuries to Pant’s forehead and leg, according to the medical professionals. Dehat Swapna Kishore Singh, superintendent of police, arrived at the location after receiving the information. Rishabh Pant has been sent to Max Dehradun because, according to Dr. Sushil Nagar, chairman of Saksham Hospital, his condition is stable right now.
Both the ODI and T20I teams for India’s series against Sri Lanka omitted Rishabh Pant from their lineups. Pant was either rested, dropped, or neither, according to the BCCI press release. In order to prepare for the two-match Test series, the BCCI decided to rest the Delhi wicketkeeper during the one-day internationals against Bangladesh.

Pant missed the upcoming white-ball series against Sri Lanka, which starts on January 3, because he was scheduled to enroll in a strength and conditioning program at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru in preparation for the Border Gavaskar Trophy in February. With the help of five hundreds and 11 fifties, Pant has amassed 2,271 runs in 33 Tests to date. In 30 ODIs and 66 T20Is, he has also played for his nation.
