UP police officer Anil Kumar Singh said, “We have asked him to appear before the IO (Investigating Officer) in Lucknow on 27 January. His house was locked and no one was there, so we pasted the notice there. ”

played in Tandava by Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayub, Sunil Grover and Kritika Kamra. This series is released on Amazon Prime Video on Friday. Just after the release, a scene of the series went viral, in which Zeeshan is in the getup of Lord Shiva, he also has a trident in his hand. But in this getup, he is also abusing. The dispute started from this scene. Apart from this, the series is also being accused of glorifying the gang in pieces.

Amid the row over ‘Tandav’, a team of Uttar Pradesh Police on Thursday arrived at the residence of web series’ director Ali Abbas Zafar to serve him notice in connection with a case filed against him in Lucknow.
The police personnel said they have served the notice to Zafar and have asked him to appear before the Investigation Officer in Uttar Pradesh capital. “We have served notice asking him to appear before IO (Investigation Officer) on January 27 in Lucknow. His house was locked and nobody was there, so we pasted the notice there,” said Anil Kumar Singh, UP Police.
