Redmi has glimpsed the camera module which seems to be heavily inspired by the iPhone 13 Pro models. The new Note 12 series has already been officially launched in China. The series consists of three phones including the Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+. The Note 12 series will replace the Note 11 series.
Redmi teased the launch of the 12 series, writing on Twitter: “Legacy gets 12 times bigger, faster and super amazing with the most remarkable phone of the year.
12 5G series is not not just a Note, it’s the #SuperNote.” In terms of launch, Redmi will most likely launch the device in India next year. As a reminder, Redmi had launched all of its previous Note phones in January, so we can expect the trend to continue this year as well.
Redmi Note 12 series: expected price in India
Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has been launched in China with two storage variants including 8GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 256GB, and the prices are CNY 2,199 (around Rs 25,000) and 2,399 CNY (about Rs. 27,300). The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is available in blue, white and black colors.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro is also available in multiple configurations such as 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage which is priced at CNY 1699 (about Rs 19,300). The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1,799 (around Rs 20,400), another 8GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at CNY 1,999 (around Rs 22,700), and the The top-end 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs CNY 2,199 (about $24,900).
The regular Redmi Note 12 was also launched in four storage configurations such as 4GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at CNY 1,199 (about Rs 13,600), 6GB RAM + 128GB storage costs CNY 1,299 (approx. Rs 14,600), 8GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs 17,000), and the top-end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs CNY 1,699 (approx. Rs19,300).
The Xiaomi 12 Pro will soon be launched in India. Although the release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, expectations are already high. Xiaomi India will also make a special announcement regarding the phone on April 12, 2022. Xiaomi India tweeted the same: “Maximum performance meets absolute elegance with #Xiaomi12Pro 5G. The Xiaomi 12 series was launched in China late last year and in Europe last month. While the series consists of three models globally, it looks like India will only get the Xiaomi 12 Pro for now. Manu Kumar Jain from Xiaomi India took to Twitter to announce the Xiaomi 12 Pro for India. “The 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 will tell. #𝑋𝑖𝑎𝑜𝑚𝑖12𝑃𝑟𝑜 5G is coming soon!” he tweeted.
Specifications and details of the Indian variant of the Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G have yet to be announced, but the phone is expected to have similar specs to the international model. And now an informant has the price of the phone in his hands. According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is expected to be priced at Rs. 65,000 in India.
